My teacher and I decided that i should do a unit on The industrial Revolution, business, the progressive era, and World War 1. However, while looking at the material, i decided that i'd be better able to create a theme and comprehensive unit if i just used a few of those. I decided to go with just the Industrial Revolution and Business. There wasn't a lot of drafts of my work. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so when I'm doing something, I want to make sure it's done right the first time. I did, however, change my first lesson to include some Primary Source documents. I thought of the assignment we did for Crystal's class and it gave me a good idea to use primary source documents. You will see my first draft though, which incorporates more technology, but less teaching on my part.

I also was going to play the monopoly game for the entire game and use that as a form of assessment. In hindsight, that was a terrible idea. 30 students playing by themselves in one game would be EXTREMELY difficult to manage, and a game of monopoly is not a proper form of evaluation for students. I'm glad i changed it.
